MEET THE BAND
The Water Dogs are an Alternative-Rock sibling trio based out of Buffalo, NY, USA.
The band has been actively creating music together since 2014.
Since 2018, they have released two full length albums: ‘For Someone Else’ and ‘Kind Words’, two EPs: ‘Pure Confusion’ and ‘Less is More’, and many singles.
They write and perform their own music and self-direct their own music videos.
The trio have been heard on radio stations in England, Spain, Italy, Germany, Australia, South Africa, NYC, and in their hometown of Buffalo, NY.
They have performed at Buffalo’s Music is Art Festival, Arizona’s Mesa Music Festival, Staten Island’s Ocean Breeze Fall Fest and Richmond County Fair, Buffalo State University events including live on WBNY 91.3FM, the Elmwood Village ArtFest, the Annunciation Lawn Fete Picnic, Artpark’s Artbar, Masterson's Honey Festival, Nietzsche's, Mohawk Place, Mr. Goodbar, Lion and Eagle Pub, Stamps the Bar, The Rockin Buffalo, Milkie’s, and various other venues.
Described by Matt Smith of Buffalo’s 1120 Press for their music having “a moodiness” about it, praised by Adam Duke of News 4 WIVB Buffalo for their “chilling vocals”, and hailed in New Noise for their “beautifully powerful femme vocals that bring to mind some of the best women singer-songwriters of the ’90s.” -Julie River
